Server Side Includes (SSI) and PHP:
Server Side Includes (SSI) have been implemented on OPEN.ORG, except for the SSI exec command, for all files with an .shtml extension. See the following web sites for more information about SSI:
PHP Version 4 is an HTML-embedded scripting language. Much of its syntax is borrowed from C, Java and Perl with a couple of unique PHP-specific features thrown in. The goal of the language is to allow web developers to write dynamically generated pages quickly. We have compiled PHP into our web server and made it available for subscribers - PHP files must have a .php extension. We aren't able to supply technical support for PHP at this time, but you can find everything you want to know about it at the PHP site: http://www.php.net
