Setting Up Email Rules In
Outlook Express

Click Tools | Message Rules | Mail...

You can see that there are many different conditions to use, in this example we are going to send directly to the deleted folder any mail that has specific words in the Subject line. Select the Conditions Where Subject line contains specific words and the Action, Delete it, name the Rule if you wish, and then click contains specific words.

Type in the words,separating each with a comma. Click the Add button when you are finished.

Click Ok and that should do it!

Remember, you will have to empty your Deleted Items folder to remove the spam from your system. Right click on the folder and click Empty Deleted Items Folder.

To add words to the list click Tools|Message Rules|Mail... Highlight the Rule you wish to change and click the Modify... button. Under 3. Rule Description click underlined wording. Add the words and then click the OK button.
