Setting Up Email Rules In
Netscape Messenger

You will see that there are many options to choose from when it comes to filtering your mail! In this example we are filtring by Subject line. Name the filter something you will identify with this rule. Select subject and contains and fill in the words you wish to block.

Select the Move to folder and Trash, click OK

That's it! Now any email with the selected words in the subject line will be sent to the Trash Folder. If you want to add words to the list, go to Edit | Message Filters... select the Rule and click the Edit button. Add the words, click OK.

Remember you will have to empty your Trash Folder to get them off your machine. Click File and Empty Trash on local mail.
