Q: Can I get a refund if I decide I do not want to use the services provided by OPEN?
A: OPEN does not offer refunds once you have paid the yearly fee. Please make sure that you want to subscribe to OPEN before paying for your account.

Q: What happens if I use more hours than my monthly usage limit allows?
A: OPEN will bill $1/hr for hours in excess of the monthly limit, even during the first two free months.

Q: How do I know how many hours I've used?
A: To see how many hours you have used, go to Login Stats.

Q: The Login Stats popup keeps asking for my password over and over?
A: Make sure that you are typing your username into the correct field. Your username is everything before the @open.org in your email address. If everything is correct, but you are still having problems, OPEN Technical Support.

Q: I have forgotten my password. What do I do?
A: If you have forgotten your password, and you cannot find the form we sent you when you first signed up, you will have to call OPEN Billing and get another password assigned.

Q: How do you figure monthly usage?
A: Monthly usage is computed from the first of the month to the end of the month.

Q: If I sign up on the 9th of the month, how are my two free months figured out?
A:
You will get the rest of that month free, plus the next two months free (as long as you don't go over your allotted hours per month).

Q: What happens if I log on before midnight on the last day of the month and logoff after midnight? What day does it get charged to?
A:
Your online time is recorded when you logoff; so if you log on before midnight the last day of the month and sign off at 1:00am (for example) then all your online time for that session will be charged to the 1st of the next month.
