Existing accounts can still be setup on new computers following these directions for Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista and for Apple Macintosh OS 7/8/9/X.
After you have connected your computer to the Internet you may wish to setup an email account. All OPEN subscribers receive an email account as part of the service that OPEN provides. The email address is username@open.org. Email accounts may be accessed via Webmail or by setting up an email program to download messages to your computer.
OPEN also provides subscribers with 50MB of webspace as well as access to newsgroup articles.
